Hey Folks,
I haven't gamed in a while, and I'm thinking of Final Fantasy XIV. The last attempt I did at gaming was on a logitech wireless (shudder), the lag killed me. Anyway, I'm out keyboard shopping. But between all the brands and $$$$$ and this feature adn that feature. I got lost. See, I probably wouldn't use alot of those extra features that people rav about.
So I'm having trouble narrowing it down. In no specific order my thoughts are.
Corsair K70
Ducky Zero
Ducky Shine 3/4
GSkill RipJaws
What I'm looking for is brown(preferred) or blue cherry switches
Blue LED backlight
Media Controls (at least vol up/dn and mute)
Aside from that I'm not sure aluminum shell matters. Although it might last longer and improve build quality.
A usb hub is only a "nice thing", with 2 computers rolling and up to 16 direct usb outlets, I don't need more.
But for FFXIV do I need seperate macro keys? and I mean *NEED*, could you simply macro them in game?
IDK never played it...
Probably be also looking for a BLUE LED mouse
I'm sure that will take another week of research LOL
