It is a pretty good build. However you are going to run out of room really fast (storage). I would suggest swapping that SSD for the biggest HDD you can get for that money, most likely a 1TB.

Case in point: Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£34.74 @ Aria PC)

You will be able to use that for a lot longer than a 120GB. And at some point you can add the SSD for your OS to get a boot and major applications speed boost, when you've saved up for it.

Haha ok well that's good. Still not all that large, but definitely makes the SSD make much more sense now. Have you looked at a GTX 960 vs. the R9 380 that you went with? I've done a bit of research and it looks like it's a better deal, as long as you get a 4GB version. Honestly, it's really close though, so if you haven't thought about it I would just stick to what you have right now and not worry about it.

Yeah, I'll probably invest in another hdd later on. I looked at the 960 but the 4gb one is a little expensive, I'm already pushing my budget. Despite this, until earlier today, I'd never heard of Powercolor (Brand making the 380), and I'm a little nervous about buying from a lesser known brand. Do you think it's worth spending a little more for an MSI card?

I think so, but it's your decision. Search the internet. Google may not be the answer to everything, but just read a lot of reviews on Powercolor. If there aren't a lot of them, I think that's a pretty telling story in and of itself.

Also a note on budget: If it's a hard stop, don't go over it. If it's not a hard stop, it should be. I definitely went a little over, but my budget was a little fluid. Don't make that mistake. I love my computer, but it would've worked just fine had I not gone over my budget. Just my un-asked-for advice.
