Hey guys, this is my first time building a PC.

The main games I intend to play are: Attila total war, witcher 3, MGS 5, Warhammer total war, Star Wars Battlefront when they come out! :D

I live in Portugal and I'm on this other forum where users can sell they're stuff second hand, they have feedback so I guess it's kind of safe to buy there.
But I heard there are components that you really should buy new, I think HDD are one of them.

My budget is 900$ or 800€.

One of the users has these components (All of them about 14 months warranty left):
Case - Cooler Master Storm Trooper - 80€
Cpu - Intel i5 4670K - 180€
Motherboard - MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming - 100€
Cooler - Noctua NH-D15 - 60€
Ram - G.skill Trident X 2400 MHZ 2x8GB - 90€
Supply - Corsair RM 750w Modular - 70€
Hdd - Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue - 35€
Hdd - Seagate 2Tb - 50€
Vga - 290X MSI Lightning - 300€
Screen - BENQ GL2250 - 80€

And this other user has this one:
gtx 970 g1 Gaming - 325€ (5 months old)

There's also this one (one year and a bit warranty):
Cpu - Intel i5 4570 - 180€
Motherboard - Asrock H87 PRO4 - 75€

Should I buy any of these components? The price is negociable I guess.

On the other hand, if I were to buy new, it'd look something like this:
PROCESSADOR INTEL CORE I5 4460 (3.2GHZ) SOCKET 1150 -190€
MOTHERBOARD MSI B85M-E45 -67€
G.SKILL KIT 2x8GB DDR3 1600MHZ RIPJAWSX CL9 -54€
CAIXA ATX COOLER MASTER N300 N2 USB 3.0 -40€
DISCO WESTERN DIGITAL 1TB SATA III 64MB BLUE - 58€
FONTE SEASONIC S12II 620W 80+ BRONZE -75€
MONITOR LG 23' 23MP67VQ-P 5MS IPS -170€
gtx 960 - 200€

I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks everyone :)

the only component i wouldn't buy used, or recommend anyone buy used, is a power supply.
buy a used HDD, and if it fails, you have lost some data and time reinstalling the OS.
if a used PSU fails, it could cost you a whole new PC.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Any other component you reckon is safe to buy used?

you can buy the case used and the screen too with minimal danger. But I feel like you could find a new case for cheaper than that. Same with the CPU, GPU and RAM if you feel like the site is reputable. Does eBay or an ebay clone not exist in Portugal? you can get insurance through them if the seller tries to screw you in the US.

I wouldn't with the PSU or a hard drive. If either one of those goes bad it's a giant headache.

Unfortunately there is no ebay or amazon clone in Portugal, only amazon in Spain, and the prices aren't much cheaper than if I would go out to a local store and buy them straight away.

The screen I agree, there is minimal risk, is this one any good? Screen - BENQ GL2250 21.5" for 85€ (roughly 90$)
