Hi, Computer super "extremely" slow in game. i tried 2 games so far, blacklight retribution.. and league of legends,, the LoL should be easy with my spec but the fps is less than 10. the blacklight game is far worse.... cpu usage 100% when game is running.

computer specs:

I7-4790k @4.00GHz
2x8gb g.skill Trident memory
Win 10 64bit
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SSC ACX 2.0 4GB
1 SSD (where my win10 is installed and the game) -
1 HD 1tb westerndigital
mobo asus ROG MAXIMUS VII HERO intel z97 s1150
cpu cooler - coolermaster v8 GTS
full tower casing

temps when running the game
40-50 degrees celcius
motherboard 20-30degrees average 26
VRM 46degrees celcius most of the time it stay at that temp
I also installed some big fans.
Power supply - thermaltake tough power 850W

im not running in any overclock and definitely not in power save mode. I think temps are ok, the specs are overkill for this games... but still why that slow?

Also, my internet sometimes die i use tp-link archer t4U as an adapter. my other device connected to the same wifi works fine and i can even stream hd movies.. but my desktop cant use the internet.. only time to time. like once every 1 or 2 days.

Your board does have an HDMI port for the integrated graphics, make sure it's not plugged into that. Double check your power connections to your graphics card and check your GPU temperature, make sure it's not throttling if you're not plugged into the integrated graphics.

It's windows 10. Nvidia drivers are somehow not getting along with Windows 10. I'm not sure if it is fixed yet. I use AMD gpus. My brother has an Nvidia gpu. He went through the same problem as you.

the file name is "355.82-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql"

i even tried for the win8.1 but it stops at compatibility stage....

for the win 64 it tried to install but ended up as failed to install...
not compatible?
