Hi guys,

I installed a new CPU-Cooler (Scythe Mugen 4) on my computer and to do so had to remove my mother board (A88XM-E35, socket FM2+) and graphic card (R7250-OC-2GD3) from my computer. After putting back the mother board, with the graphic card and CPU-Cooler attached on it, my computer doesn't power up anymore.

I have been trying to fix this problem for several hours now but I am unable to do so. My first thought is that I didn't connect the mother board or graphic card back correctly, but I am unable to find the issue. Could anyone help me and try to guide in me in finding the issue?

I'm thinking something is shorting out the motherboard. Try taking the motherboard out of the case and checking to see if it boots outside of the case. If it does then you know there's something inside your case shorting it out. Maybe you missed a screw or something like that.

does the led light on the m/b when you power the psu?

did you put the power switch back on the m/b in the right place ?

Also (sorry to ask) did you take antistatic precautions when handling the mother board, like touching the case with power lead in wall socket but not powered up so you ground your static in your body ???
