can any one say me how to install kali linux on my laptop. because i read about installing the
kali linux in two ways . * using vmware and installing it as a dual boot. what is the difference between this two method . and which one is better....so please tell me the steps to install it

The two ways are:
1- Installing using VMware.
This way u will be able to run it while using your windows. VM stands for Virtual Machine, so it'll be like having a virtual machine inside your actual windows.
2- Dual booting.
You will have two booting options, one for windows, and the other for Kali linux. So, you can't have both open simultaneously.
-There is no better way, but I'd recommend installing it onto a VM as it looks like you're not highly experienced with that stuff, so it'd be better to start there.

dude, finally i installed my linux using vm but when i tried to install as dual boot. it shows the error that cd-rom is not detected. i dont know how to solve this error.......so can you plz give me any suggestion.

As I told u before, I'd recommend that u install it on a VM because Kali linux isn't suited for daily use anyways.
But if u insist, let's see....
Do u know how to boot from dvd? Also, what tool did u use to make the kali linux installer dvd?
