OK so i whant to buy this cooler http://www.bequiet.com/en/cpucooler/482
but i wonder if it will hit my ram so i have a GIGABYTE 970A-UD3P motherboard , a corsair Graphite 230T Rebel Orange case ,and 2 sticks in sockets 1 and 2 (the second and fourth one physically) of
http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-8gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz8gx3m2a1600c9
ram .
So will it hit my ram or my heat sink or even my case if i make it sit in my case with the intake on bottom and exhaust on top plz help and answer with assurances

Will impact the second slot mate with vengeance ram - the fan can be raised slightyto combat this BUT your case takes a max cooler height of 165mm & the pro 3 is 163mm as standard.
I don't honestly think you have the room to do this.
You could move the fan to the back in a pull configuration but you lose a fair bit of cooling performance then.

You could move ram to the front 2 slots & run single channel.

Neither of these are great options though IMO.

What CPU are you running ? There are other options that will still do a good job.

well i am running an AMD FX 8-Core Black Edition FX-8350 (not the Eco one the standard one ) i am overclocking a litel bit but it heats up and the CPU cooler goes crazy so what do u suggest keep in mind it has to fit in my case. ( one model over ur cpu )

ps: what will happen if i put the fan on the other side ? or if i run single channel will there be drastic performance decrease ? or just slight. can i get a slim fan to go on that side and if yes which one do u think is best??

(one more thing if i set it puling air from bottom exhausting from top ? will it fit (idc if i have to remove my case fan and put it on the heat sink or remove it complitely)

king regard,

The width front to back of the pro3 is what creates the problem mate.its a good cooler but its huge.

There are plenty of cooler options that will only impact slot 1 (nearest the CPU ) at the most.
You will have to he selective because you have vengeance ram - I know this because I made the mistake of buying a 4 stick kit for the same board & CPU & could not use it all.

What country are you in ??
