Hello guys i recently bought (2 days ago) a Corsair psu and it worked until today when i switched on my desktop it showed the green light at front but no fans and no display was working
it powers the cpu and case fans for about 0.001 seconds then stops
full specs

A6 6400k 3.9ghz cpu non oc
16gb ddr3 ram
R7 250 1GB
Corsair CX430
1x 128gb ssd
1x 80gb hdd

i have read about this when i was looking for a fix and noticed alot of people have this issue
i can confirm it wasnt my seating or components as i am using my desktop right now with a crappy psu (the point of replacing with the new psu)
can someone help please as its a brand new PSU and feels like i wasted my money on what was supposed to be a decent quality psu
Thanks

Well, in terms of general build quality and safety, the CX should be better than the EZ-Cool.

As far as brands go, most PSU vendors do not design or manufacture their PSU, they get them from one of a handful of Original Design Manufacturers like ChannelWell, Seasonic, Fortron, Superflower, Delta, etc. and most of those ODMs have designs for multiple price points. While ChannelWell, the ODM behind the CX, is best known for cheap PSUs, they also make some better models like the Corsair RM series and the Thermaltake Toughpower DPS Gold.

You cannot buy a PSU based on vendor or ODM brand alone, you have to check reports on individual models.
