Hello. I am attempting to build a PC for work use, some video editing, and some light gaming. I put together the following PC Part List. What I really want is for somebody to make it better. Here are a couple of other considerations:

I already have dual 1080p monitors. I already have an SSD that I can use for the OS partition. And I already have a copy of Windows 10. I really shouldn't go over 700 dollars. I appreciate the help at making my build better.

Try this, pretty much the same with a more powerful Xeon that comes with a good factory cooler, and slightly a better GPU:

Thank you for your quick response. I have a couple of questions. I chose the GPU because the review said it was the best GPU in the 100 dollar price range. Why is the one you chose better. Same question about the Xeon. I thought an i5 would be faster for some light gaming over a Xeon.

I am just trying to learn. You are probably right. I just don't understand.

The Xeon will be about the same in gaming, but much better for multitasking, video editing software, and future games. The 750ti is about on par with the 260x, but will normally perform a little better, and use less energy doing so.

I noticed that in your build there is no CPU cooler. Would I need one?

Thank you both for your feedback. It was very illuminating. I haven't built my own PC for about 10 years, so this will be fun. I want it to be clean, quiet, fast, and cool. I already got all the parts. Now I assemble.
