Clean installed Windows 7, won't boot up

Here's my issue. I recently got a new motherboard and APU, and did a clean install of Windows 7 from my USB stick. Windows installed just fine, brought me to home screen, life was good. Then disaster struck, my cat chased my dog behind my tower, tripped the power cord before I could download any drivers.

Here's where it gets better. I tried to just boot, and it won't boot into Windows, and running the Startup Repair did nothing as usual. So I plugged my USB back in, swapped boot priorities in BIOS and when I restarted, it did the same thing. It is acting as though my USB needs to be repaired now too.

Also, my motherboard doesn't have a CD/DVD drive cable input, so no disc drive.

I am at a loss on what to do. How can I get it fixed.

I loaded plugged my USB into a spare laptop I had laying around, verified that it still had the Windows 7 data on it, plugged it back into my desktop, and magically it was bootable again.

Tried to repair, but it said Windows on my HDD was different from Windows on my USB. Just running fresh install again.
