I just bought a new motherboard and nothing bad happened to it (it's a Asus z97-a) and I know it's a video card error the long beep two beeps and I've moved the ram around, I tried the onboard graphics with a vga and I still got the beeps, what's wrong? By the way it's an i7 I'm pretty sure that has integrated graphics and I used a gtx 980 with hdmi and dvi

Did you plug in the 6 and 8 pin cables to your graphics card? Also, what power supply are you using?
