Best 2015 gpu for 1440x900 resolution?

Looking for a gpu that will maxed out games and will get at least 40-60fps in 1440x900 res
also for a long term use

that's a pretty low resolution. if you plan on staying with it then a single 960 or 280X should be enough to handle high end games maxed out for quite some time. also, make sure your power supply meets the graphic card's minimum requirements. what's the CPU, RAM, motherboard?

CPU: i5-4590
Mobo:Asus B85 gamer pro
RAM: 8gb
PSU: seasonic 520w bronze modular

depending on the extant of video rendering you intend you may want to go higher. i would say minimum 970 or 290X. but then you might also consider upgrading the CPU and motherboard.
if you also plan on higher resolutions with those processes any time soon i would recommend 390X or 980ti.
