Ok so this is a really weird issue and not exactly troubleshooting more of a mystery.

Ok so, we have this WiFi adapter that is always plugged in upstairs we us it to extend our WIFI signal so it can reach my fathers room as the signal isnt very strong in there. We never unplug it because we know that i causes problems, and yesterday it disappeared. It is no longer plugged in the slot and we've checked the whole house and it isnt there, its like someone has walked in a taken it. So i was wondering if there was a way to see what time our mobile phones disconnected from the internet as they are always connected. Then we could try and see if one of use took it out or someone has some how stolen it????
I know its a long shot but we are so confused and its driving us crazy.

Solution
You could type in a web browser: 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 to access your router/ modem settings.

Login to your settings and locate the tab with "logs" and view them there. It may tell you what time the adapter was pulled out with additional info
