Choosing MOBO for socket 1150 ~100$

So, following this thread I decided to make a rig with the xeon because of the 8 threads.
Since it doesnt support oc'ing any mobo with chipset h87/h97 or z87/z97 at this prize point will be fine, but it has to be durable(Im not gonna be upgrading any time soon) and still the pc is gaming oriented so I want to squeeze as much performance out of the mobo as(and if) possible :p

After some research I ended up on these, but any other suggestion is welcomed:
1)Asrock Fatal1ty H87 Performance
+8 Power Phase Design (not needed for ocing but still pretty good for longervity)
+15μ Gold Finger in PCIe Slot
-No premium audio (does this realy make a difference?)
-No premium caps,mofsets,chokes,etc

2)MSI H97 GAMING 3
+++Killer Ethernet(if it REALLY makes a difference then its n.1 priority,anyone who tried it?)
+Premium Audio
+Premium caps and stuff

3)Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H
Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3
+5x (15μ) Gold Plated CPU Socket Design
+Audio
+Premium Caps,mofsets,pcb,etc
+LAN Optimizer (is it similar to killer ethernet?)

I also trust Asus from experience, but couldnt find any worthwhile alternatives to these in terms of features.
And if you say Im too picky, yeah that sounds like me :p

From what i can tell the lan optimizer is there for people with poor internets and torrent alot, due to torrenting maxing your download rate, thus you can choose stream mode, which allows you to torrent but leaves enough room for gaming and leaving you with 100-200ms ping max, unlike having a 1k ping when torrenting and gaming. You can set download caps...

i'VE got the msi gaming z97, so i can give a few feedbacks on their lga1150 gaming boards.
+ The killer ethernet is actually pretty awesome, got 2 other siblings who have their pcs and use internet 24/7 -_- and i never experience lag, before this board i actually did get ping spikes was really annoying xD!!!
+ the z97 over the h97 allows huge overclocking capability.
- h97 and z97 are identical but h97 you cannot overclock well, your stuck at 1600mhz ram lol.
- i've got to be honest ... many people have had faulty boards including myself xD.
+ the BIOS is great for overclocking
+ realiable when you got a 100% working board
+ heatsinks are great on this board and the best looking one out of the 3 in my opinion.

If your looking for something durable and overclock well ... please switch to the z97 gaming 3.
I cannot say much about the other motherboards, not looked at them was giving your my personal review on the MSI one.

Only choose gaming 3 if you will switch to the z97 ... presuming you want to squeeze performance (overclocking)

Thanks for the info on the killer ethernet+realibility :)

If only I wasnt on a tight budget z97 and oc'ed i7-K would be the way to go, but that's not the case :(
I will have to settle with 1600Mhz CL7 ram, not too bad but still I would prefer more options

Can someone confirm if gigabyte's lan optimizer is as effective as killer ethernet? If not, msi is the way to go for me...

You can set download caps anyway on bittorent if your that worried.
From reading about it it isn't anything amazing just helping you manage bandwidth allocation.

According to this and this they practically do the exact same thing, with the difference that killer lan is harware bound and lan optimizer is software dependant.
And we all know what's more trustworthy :p
