graphic card suddenly stopped working with monitor becoming blank and failing to start.

i brought amd radeon 6670 3 years back and it was running smoothly, until the other day when, staring my computer, monitor became non responsive and completely blank. cpu is working finely, just monitor remains blank. when i connect display cable on inboard slot, with or without graphic card connected,monitor starts working on inboard graphic's support.
please just possible solution

Try this. Install ddu and select clean and shutdown. (for new graphics card) Now take the gpu out of the system and make sure it's clean. Place it back and make sure all the wires are secure and the gpu is firmly placed. Boot the computer and go to nvidia's website and download a fresh set of the latest drivers. Then install. Should be working normally now.
