I am having some issues with overclocking my AMD Fx-8320 on my 970a-UD3P. When I try to overclock in the bios it works but when I have a cold boot, it turns on and quick shuts its self down and then two seconds later it restarts it self and works fine. Sometimes it says there are issues in the BIOS (Incompatiablity with hardware). Any help? For now I am running the 8320 and 970a-ud3p at optimized default settings to prevent damage to anything.

Update your mobo bios to the newest available. :) Had the same issue with same mobo, fx6300, couldnt get over 4.2 ghz, if i tried to go 4.3 would give me that message. So now after i flashed bios, running 4.5Ghz all day. :) And the double boot is problem with turbo boost, it appears after u disable the boost. But no worries its going to be gone after the bios update.
Hope this helps.

After disabling the Turbo in the bios, Im slowly overclocking it up to 4.2 Ghz, but when i hit 4.0, during a stress test with Prime 95 some times it randomly drops to 2 Ghz ish and then goes back up, Prime would say that there are no problems. so i upped the voltage and it is still doing this issue. any help?
