Hi, I've recently decided to make a gaming PC with a budget of around 800$ (Canadian). After researching for a few days, this is what I've come up with: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/hLVfTW
I'd like to know if it is a good PC to play games like GTA V, and ARMA III.

Thank you in advance

I chose a higher quality, fully modular power supply, and changed the graphics card to the 950. The 950 is a lot cheaper and performs close to a 960.

What resolution is your monitor?

Solution

Seasonic makes very high quality power supplies. The power supply is the most important component of the computer. It is better to get a high quality one. The EVGA 500W unit is just okay quality, and is reallyideal for cards over a 750Ti. A Seasonic will be better in terms of longevity, efficiency (lower electricity bill), voltage regulation, and is fully modular. A fully modular power supply lets you plug in the cables you need, so you don't have a bunch of unused cables lying around your case.

It is worth it any day, the trade off for thew Seasonic for the 950.

For a case just get any case that you like and a DVD drive is nice to have if your watching DVD's, burning music or for installing the OS (can be done by flash drive as well). I have one but I rarely use it, its just personal preference just like the case.
