Hi there, my current build is as follows;

http://9gag.com/gag/aVXZwwd?ref=mobile.s.cp

Intel-i5 4690K @ 3.7Ghz
Asus Z97-P
Ballistix Sport 8GB Ram (2x 4GB)
Corsair CX500 PSU
1TB HDD (Forget what brand)
MSI R7 250 2GB DDR5 GPU
NZXT 410 Phantom Chassis

Basically I'm looking to get a new GPU (a few of you will probably wince at how horrible my current one is) and an SSD. So far I've been recommended an R9 390 over any GTX series because of DX12 support and a Samsung Evo 840 for it's turbo abilities but I guess I should buy a 16GB RAM kit for that to be feesible.

I'd be extremely grateful for any suggestions with reasoning behind them.

:)

Solution
For 1080p Gaming either GTX 970 or R9 390 is great choice. You can't get any DX12 performance in recent years since no games haven't been yet optimized for DX12.

If you opt for 390/970 then Get a New PSU for your GPU [390/970]. because Corsair CX is Crap. Buy any Corsair CS/RM/AX series.

If you are not into Video editing, then 8GB is Enough for Gaming.

For tight Budget go for Samsung EV0 or Crucial MX. Otherwise Samsung PRO series. Buy atleast 256GB model. 120GB will full after some game installation.

Well I think I can only afford a 120GB but mainly I just want it for the OS and I only ever really play maybe 2 games at a time so I don't mind the smaller storage size, still think I NEED the bitter capacity?
