Am having this problem with my ati radeon hd 4870.
I am having problem cause my fan is spinning and 100%, also have no post!
Also when i unplug my 2x6 pin connectors am not getting the two red lights at my graphic card.
D1602 (External power connector A) and
D1603 (External power connector B).
The thing is when i plug 2x6pin and start computer the graphic card blink 3 red lights at start as it should but the fan is spinning like crazy. And the same thing is happening when 2x6 are not plug in.
The GPU phases are ok and the memory too.
Can you guys give me any input on this one.
Is my Bios dead or maybe Shim Controller or something else?
