Hello, im new here and i dont speak english but i will try.

I have a new PC with one ram of 8Gb 1600 Mhz DDR3, and my old PC have two rams of 4Gb 1333 Mhz DDR3. And i dont know if use all the rams (16Gb 1333Mhz) or only the 8Gb ram... what do you thing?

PD: For more information, i play videogames, program and edit videos.

PPD: Sorry for mi poor english

Solution
when you are editing do you run out of memory? because if not, then you will actually get less performance with 16GB of 1333MHz RAM as it will be slower but not used. also that would make it difficult to get everything to work right, as the timings are different, and not all motherboards can handle that. I would just stick with the 8GB 1600MHz.

i agree. unless you have need of the 16GB...ie your running out of memory space. Your better off with the 8GB @ 1600mhz. AS mentioned mixed ram sets are often time more trouble then its worth, assuming our motherboard can handle it to begin with AND your performance will slow unless you need greater than 8GB of ram.
