Hello guys. I am upgrading my pc and i am so frustrated with these gpus. I read review and benchmarks but still i cant choose cause i dont want to buy an over priced card. My budget is 180-230€ for a gpu. I wont upgrade the gpu for about 2-3 years at least so i want to buy something that is good. After a lot of research about base clock, core clocks etc i found these:
Gtx 950 2gb 180-200€
R9 380 2gb 210€
Gtx 960 2gb 210€
R9 380 4 gb 253€
Gtx 960 4 gb 230€
I have a 720p monitor, maybe in december i will buy a 1080p(not 100%). Ive heard that gtx 960 isn't powerfull enough to handle 4gb vram. Also if r9 380 4 gb is rly that good i can spend some more bucks. I have an fx 6300 and a zalmal 600w plus bronze psu which i dont want to replace yet...can the psu handle these cards?

Solution

ultra 1080 you need at least a gtx 980 and up with an i5 or better for the newer games

960 or 380 play at medium/high mixed settings 1080p on newer games

they can play a lot of games ultra, just depends on which games

this your psu? if so yes it can handle them

the 380 is the best card.

at 720p 2gb would not be an issue
