Hi, I have an intel powered pc with windows 7, 64 bit, Samsung 750gb SS hard drive. I have had no problems previously and while starting an online exam tonight my computer crashed soon as I started on NKU blackboard. Below is a copy of what my bluescreen error collection software collected. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. It has not crashed or gave an error since. This happened about 2 hours ago. Thanks much.

all you know is that bitdefender used a bad memory address and that caused the bugcheck. You don't know why it used the bad address.
it can be bitdefenders fault, or something corrupted its data in memory, or your ram has issues (bad BIOS settings).

if you put the memory dump from c:\windows\minidump directory on a server like microsoft onedrive, then post a link.
I can take a quick look with a debugger.

Thanks for the help guys. I am posting a link here to the last BSOD minidump file. This actually happened again after I posted this and this is the latest one. I ran windows update and realized I had not updated in a long time, like 9 months. So I installed all 125 important updates and it has not done it since. However, I worry because while trying to take my college exam for the second time today, the browser froze and closed out causing me to have to call the instructor, again. So I used an old computer to complete the exam and would like to try and nail down the problem. Here is the link you requested johnbl:

Your may have to copy and paste because it doesn't want to hyperlink the whole thing

Problem appears to be solved:

I believe bitdefender was at least partly to blame. After sending my crash data to bitdefender, they had me completely uninstall bitdefender and download and install the newest version. However, last night I ran memtest86 and had 147 errors coming from tests 5, 6, and 9. I flashed my bios with the latest update..asrock x79 extreme6 motherboard. Then afterwards, I examined my overclock settings I have used for the past year. I had never had a BSOD, but when I would have multiple browser windows open (like 10 or more), I would end up crashing the app whether it be adobe reader, Microsoft word, or internet explorer. I backed off my overclocking a bit and used XMP mode to manage my memory in the bios. I have a 3.4 ghz intel processor I had overclocked at about 4 ghz for the past year, but now it is running just over 3.7 ghz. This is fine for what I am doing now..when I get into heavy video editing, I may bump it back up for a little better performance. So, between decreasing the overclocking, flashing bios with update, XMP mode for memory in bios, and bitdefender uninstall and replace, my system is running smooth as silk and the performance seems better than before. I ran the memtest86 again after these changes and got no errors at all..so I know I am on the right track. Thanks for the help.
