Hi Guys!

Just wanna hear your thoughts on the pc parts that I'm gonna be building at the end of the year.

I'm trying to go with a white/black or red/black (currently red/black parts) and if theres any suggestions you have let me know.

I like the Xeon cause it has Hyper-Threading and it should help with editing, and 1080p mostly until I can afford a 1440p monitor.

Intel Xeon E3 1231 V3
Asus ROG Maximus VII Ranger Z97 Motherboard LGA 1150 (buy from centrecom, this board is much more stable, lower failure rate and can add more if needed more upgrades)

EVGA SuperNOVA G2 Gold 750W Power Supply
Samsung 850 EVO Series 250GB 2.5in SSD
ASUS DRW-24D3ST 24x DVD Writer
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4GB (Card is better build and cooling)
NZXT H440 Mid Tower Case Black/Red (This case is more quiet and cooler under load)
Kingston HyperX Fury HX318C10FRK2/16 16GB (2x8GB) Red (This ram will give you better future proofing)
Western Digital WD Black WD2003FZEX 2TB (This HHD is faster and much more reliable with a much lower failure rate)

Total Cost $2270 AUD
This is much more future proof.
