Hey guys,
So we had a break-in and 2 machines were stolen.
I need to replace them so I am here for advice since I might be able to save some money by having your expert advice instead of just my own knowledge ( which can be limited ).
So first things first:
The computers had the following specs: Asus motherboard, i5 3.2GHz, 4GB DDR 1300 RAM ( the usual ) , Windows 7 Pro, 500W PSU, DVD RW drive, basic chassis ect.
The keyboard and mouse were logitech and quite high end ( non gaming ) think Logitech K800-ish range.
So here is what I need help with:
Motherboard:
I need a good Socket LGA 1151 motherboard suggestion since I am going that route.
I am deciding between the 3.5 and 3.2GHz i5 Intel Skylake CPU your input is appreciated.
Just regular 4GB 1300Mhz DDR3 RAM for now ( might get 1866MHz at a later stage )
DVD RW Drive ( probably LG or Sony ) whichever is cheapest.
PSU - undecided probably a no name brand if it can save me money once again input is appreciated
Windows 7 Pro
Computer Chassis - Probably the cheapest one I can find.
Also I would like your input on good Wireless Keyboards & mice.
I almost forgot one of the most important questions: what monitor should I get ? I need 21.5", good clarity & good quality.
We had 21.5" top of the range Ben Q's
I was thinking something along the lines of these:
Dell UltraSharp UZ2315H
AOC i2473PWM
Dell S2340L
Dell Professional P2314H
HP Elitedisplay E221 21.5
Samsung S22C450D
or if these 4 come in a 21.5" equivalent:
Dell S2415H
BenQ XL Series XL2411Z 24
Samsung LS24E390HL/XA
Samsung S24D390HL
I was thinking a Logitech K750 Keyboard or perhaps a Microsoft one and a Logitech or Microsoft wireless mouse, but once again let me know of your input as I am not an expert.
I really hope you guys can give me some input asap as I will probably be getting the quotes today or tomorrow because I need these computers yesterday if you catch my drift
Thanks all
