I want to purchase a new tablet for recreational activities along with school work. Therefore, I can't decide whether I want the iPad Pro or an Android tablet. The main reason I am thinking of purchasing the new iPad Pro is because of Apple's known build quality along with software support considering it hasn't reached the market yet. However, the reason I would like to purchase an Android tablet is because I own a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge as my main phone and the software would be very familiar to me, allowing me to use my devices together more often. As observed, price isn't really a problem, however, I hope there is a 64 GB version that releases for the iPad Pro considering the $1000 price tag on the 128 GB version, and 32 GB wouldn't suffice. In conclusion, is there an Android tablet that includes the latest software, has a nice-sized screen, includes similar build quality, and could be a competitor for the iPad Pro? I am also thinking of Jailbreaking in the future considering the limited features of iOS. Thanks for any feedback in advance

Everyone has fine build qquality IMO, its durability thats lacking in the Apple mobile stuff like Ipod touch's and ipads. I dont know anyone that hasnt shattered their screens and I consider android tables with gorilla glass to be far more durable. My nexus7 is 3 yrs old and used daily plus quite often by my young grandkids who are still fairly clumsy, it has gorilla glass and despite being dropped countless times it still survives and has never even had a case on it. My oldest grandson shattered his 5th gen touch on the very first drop... But to give apple its due, that touch still works even though chunks of screen are completely missing. LoL

Another problem I have with Android tablets is that not all of them are compatible with all of the apps on the Google Play Store. That being said, there may be glitches on the OS that don't appear on the iPad Air. Thanks for the feedback though!
