What's the best Single fan Water Cooling solution for a 5820K?

I'm returning my NH-D15 and will be going for an AIO cooling solution. I need some thoughts on which one would be best for this build that I'm currently completing. I'm looking at a H80i GT or a H90 atm, but would like to look around more.

I'll be using a 450D case, and the system will be used for some high-end gaming, but mostly for 3D rendering.

You will be hard pressed to find a single fan water cooler that is more effective than the NH-D15.
Or, for that matter, any other AIO cooler that is more effective.

The H90 is good, and so is the Kraken X41.

I would expect only the Swiftech to be superior to the NH D15, however.

The best of the liquid coolers in the anandtech report above cooled a 60w load at 5c. over ambient.
The comparable load with a NH-D15 was 6.4c. over ambient.

And, the noise level of the NH-D14 was lower than any liquid cooler at that load.
The difference at 100w is 2c.

Because the fan was becoming too tall when I use heat spreaders. But I've seen my temps drop to below 10C with a FX-8350 with this NH-D15. But, now that I'm moving to a different set of RAM modules, I just remembered that these ones don't really have Heat Spreaders.

So, I'm strongly considering the options. Plus, this cooler is very quiet, compared to my 212.

Another thing is, I might go after a FuryX, which would be hard to route alongside an NH-D15.

Hmm.. Doesn't look like a big difference. If I wanted to, I could just re-use the other fan when needed. It's simply a single fan NH-D15. lol

I'll think about it hard, I'm not sure how much the shipping will be for this guy, if I return it.

The S is asymmetric with the radiator moved away from the GPU slot for more clearance. On my mATX board, I could not fit the D15 and a GTX970.

It comes with one fan but another can be added if your memory is short. I am running Trident X, so can remove the fins if I need to.

Hmm, Yeah, two fan thing really limits you. But that clearance under it helps. Just not with really high heat spreaders.

Here's the system it's running on right now, the photo's aren't updated but, whatever error you see there... Has been fixed.

With the RAM that I got for the 5820K build, it doesn't look like it has high head spreaders. So, I don't think I'll run into fitting issues. I just wish I could exchange my 450D for a 750D instead. An Enthoo Pro would nice, I'm just not a fan of buying big stuff online, too much risk involve.

FWIW, the tridentX top heat spreader fins are easily removeable.
There is a very small Philips head screw on each end.

Yeah... I'm gonna trust my gut on this one and stay with my NH-D15. It's cool, it runs well. And I'd really like to avoid the hassle of returning the item.
