Hi all, please help, my R7 265 wont provide any inputs. I have a Cupertino Foxconn 2ABF H61 Motherboard, with a PCI X16 slot, and a 550 WATT power supply, and I am literally stumped as to why the GPU wont work? Any ideas? Is it incompatible?

If the fans are spinning, it has power so then that shouldn't be a problem.
But look if you clicked it deep enough in the PCIe slot.
Otherwise you should test it on another system if possible if you want to be sure

Yep, I have checked the PCI E slot to see if its connected, I dont really have another system to test it on, my mate that could test it for me is not well at the moment. So, the main question is, it should be compatible with my mainboard? Thats one I am questioning at the moment

Hmm, Your mobo not being compatible is almost impossible, if it has PCIe 2.0 or 3.0 then it should be compatible. Which it should have

So that's kinda weird

YEP, I have literally tried everything, it is PCI 2.0 - which I checked was backwards compatible, the only way I can get a signal is to plug into the mainboard, that is, when slot security is disabled otherwise I get nothing - BIOS wont detect it, nor will Windows. I think I may have a faulty card but I wanted to be sure

You should return it and get a new one if possible, and test that one out
