Blue screen of death on windows 7 laptop?

so my laptop was working fine but few weeks ago it start crashing it used to be once every week or something but recently it started crashing every day once which kinda sucks to lose all the work i been working on i tried making a full computer scan upgdated bios but still i can open the laptop normally but after 6-7 hours it crashed showing the blue screen after i restart it it works fine again then after the same time it crashes any solution to this?

thanks for your answer but how can i know if my laptop is overheating or no and the surface part makes sense since it started happening once i moved from home for work reasons

if you using 6-7 hours strait you wanna get cooling pad which have fans and prevents from overheating .if the laptop older then a year ,air can makes blow the dust from vents on the side of your laptop.
