Hi guys, can this cpu get good clock ? Can i get to 100 fps stable with good clock playing dota 2 ? I did some research and some guys told me that i can change in bios CPU Base Frequency to be faster,in my bios its on 100 the max i can turn its 105 i cant past this but i have turned it to 103-104(i tried the first time to go 105 but when i started to play some game after 1-2 min it crashed) with ram 1333 from what some guys told me,but i still cant get dota2 to 100 fps stable, and some other guy told me that i can raise voltage but need to buy cooler. So i ask you can this cpu get good clock or its not worth it ?

My pc specs are
CPU- Amd athlon x4 840 3.1
RAM- 8GB 1600mhz (1 stick)
GPU- r7 370 Dual X
MB- MSI A78M-E45
PSU-POWER BOX Switching Power Supply model ATX-600W

Base clock overclocking isn't worth it. You can only bump it up 3-4MHz on average before the whole system becomes unstable (base clock controls speed of CPU, RAM, PCIe...) Also 3-4MHz is what? Like 100Mhz more on the core clock? Yeah not going to make a difference.

well i dont really know in depth how this works, but i have like 1500 hours of dota2 and i can feel the difference in gameplay when i get beyond 60 fps i dont know if i can see much or not but i can feel it when i play.

Yes i was told that this CPU dont have unlocked multiplier but they told me i can raise voltage to get past that 105 Mhz limit.
