I have a Sapphire HD7770 GPU and an FX6300. I want to Overclock my GPU but I'm a bit scared as I don't have any coolers except a fan in the cabinet. I'm new to this thing. Will my GPU overheat to such an extent that it may get damaged? Also if I can Overclock what software should I use?
Thanks.
PS
Can I use a hairdryer to clean my cabinet? Lol.

Ha ha. I had a 7950 and was able to OC to 1100/1450. Having said that, I have 5 chassis fans to keep things cool. Your card will throttle itself when things get too hot, so you don't damage it. I'd say, you could OC to 1000/1400 easily without additional cooling, but the card fan might spin up really loud. Give it a go and let us know. Remember to push power threshold to 20% in the overdrive screen... Good luck.

Do you have problem with your game's performance?

Just like cilliers said above, you can easily OC it without adding more fan. But remember, OCing will make temps higher and the fan will be spun faster, which is can be lauder and shortening your card's lifespan.

But a little push OC for your card is an okay. :)
