I was originally gonna get the r9 280 but some people said my psu isnt good enough so should i get the r9 270x 4gb or gtx 960?
Pc Specs:
Motherboard: 970a-ds3p Gigabyte
Ram: 8 gb Corsair
Power Supply: 500 Watt EVGA
Graphics Card: r9 270x XFX
Processor: FX 6300
Also I think my motherboard is only for and AMD gpus and cpus so could I even get the gtx 960 to work with my build? Thanks

Motherboard only supports crossfire. Therein lies the difference. Will do 1x nVidia card, but not SLi. Will however do 2x AMD cards. A previous reader mentioned how the R9 270x 4gb or GTX 960 are incremental upgrades over your existing R9 270X. He was absolutely right. You're looking at 10-15% performance increase either way. Those are going to be pretty expensive fps'es. LOL
