HELP NEEDED!!! Need to know if this system will bottleneck

Hey guys i have an Intel i5 3470 @ 3.2ghz and a pretty standard motherboard with 8gb ddr3 ram and soon upgrading to 750w psu. I currently have a gtx 750ti in my build and looking to upgrade to a gtx 970, will my cpu bottleneck this graphics card or will i need a new cpu? (ideally just buy the graphics card as i don't want to spend a lot of money)

it may bottleneck (not entirely sure) but i would not worry about it too much

It's not going to bottleneck it. For the psu ones you don't need 750w for single card system even 500w is enough for an i7 and a high end gpu. Just make sure you get a good quality psu.

It's a CIT PSU 500w i currently have in my build, it's lasted almost two years now with no faults and has really good reviews, just want to make sure it dosent give way when I add the extra power

It's not bad but it's not good. As long as you keep it under 80% load i think the psu will last a good 5 years
