My mouse (logitech g300) usually works just fine, but for example, if i try to drag and drop an icon, the icon just drops before i even release the button and sometimes it does't even grab the icon. I noticed this about a week ago while i was playing rust.

Solution

Yeah, try the mouse on another computer to determine if the mouse is at fault. What you're describing sounds like the defective microswitch problem which has plagued Logitech mice for the last ~7 years since they switched to a cheaper supplier. The switch sometimes doesn't register clicks, and sometimes stops registering them before you've released the button. And sometimes the combination of the two causes it to double-click when you single-click.

rayzaldy: Maybe, but i have only used this for about 1,5 years

Cons29: I mean that the buttons work fine and the cursor doesn't stutter or anything.

I'm also suspecting that it's windows 10s' fault, but i'm not sure by any means.

Try using it on your laptop or other system with os other than windows 10. If it works fine than the os has some mouse issues

I think that's exactly my problem. When i click on a video to pause it, it goes full screen. I think i will just buy a new mouse since this mouse is getting too small for me.
