A few days before I got myself HyperX Savage and it was discovered that it can't work on G41 Chipset, so I got it back to hardware store. I now got Kingston KVR16N11S8/4 4GB and still it wont get past post, so I'm posting once again here for help...

My motherboard is Asus P5P41C, I know it's bad, but I'm still collecting money for a brand new PC.
I did use Crucial's system scanner to check what memory would be compatible with my motherboard and that one was one on the list and still it doesn't work...

Hi,
Your motherboard seems to support only up to ddr3 1333 (the kingston you got is 1600).

There doesn't seem to be anything on the manufacturer website about which specific 1333 RAM is tested and supported by your motherboard on the QVL so stick to veteran ram manufacturers (kingston, corsair, g.skill, crucial) to improve chances of compatibility.

Buy 1333Mhz RAM with returns in mind if things don't pan out.

Hope this helps.
