This rig was generated by IntelTurtleFan, so thnx mate for this great rig.

Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($166.95 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($78.30 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($45.99 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($43.20 @ SuperBiiz)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Black Edition Double Dissipation Video Card ($212.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: XFX XTR 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($73.80 @ SuperBiiz)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($16.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $638.11

My budget is around $630, so this is perfect for me in those terms. But there are 3 things I want to clarify in this rig ?

1. Is this rig compatible ? and will it last long ?

2. My previous Motherboards/ Graphic Cards got fried (basically I stay at a hot place :p), so what would be a good addition (cooler maybe, IDK) to this rig to avoid heat issues or is this already enough ?

3. Along with playing games, I'll be using Maya, 3ds max and softwares like that, so will this rig be good enough to run those as well ?

Any other suggestions would also be appreciated, since I'm a noob in these things. Thnx in advance :D

Those parts are compatible.
You didn't include your Pc Case, is that mean you wanna use your Old Casing???
Since your mentioned that you stay in hot place, it's better to use some Fans in your Case.
