I'm still trying to decide between the ATI Radeon HD4650 or NVIDIA GeForce 9600
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2698670/upgrade-graphics-card-gateway-sx2802.html

Which one will fit my system better? (Gateway SX2802-01)
Which is faster?
Where can I find it on Amazon?

I'm a little lost in my search results and I'd like an expert objective opinion on the best between these two graphic cards.

Thanks!
Adam

The 9600 uses almost 100 watts of power, there is no way your system will run that. Even a 9400 may be stretching things at 50 watts. if you want to speed up your computer, sell it and get a more modern one. A video card will be very tough to fit that would be worth getting, and after paying for a power supply upgrade and a new video card you are at 50% the cost of a used more modern system with a larger case for more upgrades.

Wait a minute...MrBlonde1 said in this last thread http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2698670/upgrade-graphics-card-gateway-sx2802.html that I had two options. .."The form factor necessitates the use of a low or slim profile graphics card, however, and there aren’t too many modern graphics cards available in such a format, though if you're willing to settle for an ATI Radeon HD4650 or NVIDIA GeForce 9600 (or possibly an 9800GT with some modification)"

I know for a fact that I have more space in my case..there must be a slim profile that would fit.
