Hi

Im having an issue that my H100i cooler is making a bird like noise. Another thread had the same problem, no answer there. So what is going on, i remember seeing slits (tiny torn) bits nearly my tube seals, connecting from the radiator to the heatsink, showing its use. is it the problem? time to get a new cooler? Thanks

What I heard in the clip you linked @ 0:23 sounded like a high pitched version of compression pump failure/near failure due to a loose or worn piston.

If you are seeing cracking near the ends of the hoses, that would indicate dried hoses. If the cracks (tiny slits) are located only at the connections to the pump/CPU block, that could indicate a heat issue - but you said your temps are fine so I'd think that the hoses are drying out.

If the sound your pump makes is intermittent, like in the clip, it could possibly be some trapped air. The pump may be able to circulate the air depending on the orientation it is mounted (rad and pump block) and that would be why it's intermittent and not constant. If it's constant I would think it...

Uhm ive had the bird like noise ever since i got it. Its just gotten louder over the years and brought to my attention right now. My CPU/Liquid temps are fine.

If it's constant I would think it was a loose piston - that it hasn't failed is a testament to Corsair manufacturing greatness.

Hi
Yeah i have had some heat issues in the padt, my CPU on average was 60-80 degrees on load, i fixed the problem (reapply new thermal paste) but i did run a very hot CPU for atleast 4 months
