What sounds should a hard drive make?

I bought a hard drive a few months back, I believe it's the WD4003FZEX. It was making some grinding and thumping noises very often so I did an RMA and sent it back. The new drive makes similar grinding/clicking noises on startup and when data is being accessed. I did some research on it and from what I can tell drives are supposed to make clicking noises when data is being accessed, am I just being paranoid or should I do another RMA? The clicking is most noticeable when I open a program like 3DS Max or start a game from Steam but it's quite loud. Also, I haven't had any performance issues so far

Specs:
i7 4790k
Geforce GTX 970
4TB main drive (the one in question) 1TB drive and 120 GB SSD boot drive
1100w PSU (I know I went overboard)
Asus Z97 Pro Motherboard
8GB Ram

I don't think it's the 1TB drive because that's from an old computer and I never had issues with it

Solution
It's the WD Caviar Black. It's supposed to be noisy due to it's very high power/performance. The noise the Black creates is louder than the WD Caviar Blue (balanced performance) and Caviar Green (lowest performance) versions.

Compare the noise with this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpNxovn7yjs

Some WD Black owners even complain that the HDD rattles their case.

Mine sounds similar but higher pitched and more wobbly rather than a popish noise if that makes sense, also the last drive did shake my case if I put my hand on it, thanks
