To start off I have to say I don't know much about how coil whine sounds, since this is my first build.
My Gigabyte 980 Ti makes a buzzing noise when the fans go over about 90%, sitting on my desk the sound is audible but moving my head under the table I can't hear it anymore, I opened the side panel of my H440 and I get the same sound as when I was above my desk.
Note that I haven't run the gpu at all yet, haven't ever benchmarked it or played any games on it yet.
Listening to other coil whine videos on YouTube I noticed that the buzzing noise isn't very similar to the whining noise in videos, I'll try to post a video on YouTube and link you guys to it...
