Hey, I got a GSOD when playing CS:GO, which turned into getting a GSOD whenever I loaded any game. I have a R9 270X that's about 1.5 years old. Before resetting windows, I would get a GSOD the second I loaded up a game. I'm on the 15.7 drivers. Before the crash, I got a blue screen saying that the display driver had failed. This happened a lot before the GSOD but was easily fixed by a reboot. This issue can't for whatever reason. Would you guys say my GPU is faulty?

I've tried:
- Fresh Windows Installation
- Resetting CMOS
- RMA'ing the motherboard

Solution
Sound like a problem with the memory. Happens to me when I OC the memory clock too far. Drivers crash and then the screen turns either pink or gray and I'm forced to reboot. If you can still boot into windows, try decreasing memory clocks to stock (1250Mhz I think) and if that doesn't fix it, run DDU in safe mode, reboot and install the drivers again.
