People say I should uninstall my amd drivers then install the new nividia drivers what is the best way to do that?

You simply uninstall them, put in the new card, then you might have to boot into safe mode to install the new drivers (or Microsoft default drivers will enable and you can just boot normally), and install the new drivers.
