Can i use my HDD for OS and programs and setups and boot up from HDD with SSD connected and install my games on SSD and run them when booted up from HDD.Will it be a good idea and will it work faster?I have 250GB HDD and considering to buy 256 GB SSD.I am confused between these two SSD,s.Link 1 (http://homeshopping.pk/products/ADATA-Premier-Pro-SP920-ASP920SS3256GMC-25-256GB-SATA-III-Internal-Solid-State-Drive-SSD-in-Pakistan.html) and Link 2 (http://homeshopping.pk/products/Silicon-Power-S60-240GB-Price-in-Pakistan.html).Which is best and will my given setup work?

Solution
Think of it this way, you get to start loading the game sooner. Trust me, you definitely will want the OS on the SSD. It makes everything about your system very quick and whippy.
Hey there, HaiderPervaiz42!

Having a two-bay storage solution for your system is definitely a good performance boost, especially when upgrading to SSD. However, it's highly recommended to use the SSD for booting rather than storage. That's when your PC will perform really well, whereas keeping Windows on the HDD might not bring considerable boost for your rig.
Here is a guide about SSD & HDD optimization that you might find useful, the step-by-step there is pretty accurate and helpful:

Windows 8 - http://www.overclock.net/t/1240779/seans-windows-8-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds

Hope it helps. Good luck! :)

But why?If i install OS on SSD which is good but if i install games on HDD and boot up using SSD and play games that are installed on HDD,then how will it make games load faster when games are installed on HDD not SSD which is slower then SSD.?

Hi again, HaiderPervaiz42!

@turkey3_scratch pretty much explained it. Your games won't be able to load faster if your overall system is booting from the slower HDD. 256 GB of SSD might be just enough for both, depending on the game. Try to arrange the storage according to your needs. For example, use the SSD for boot and for the high-end games that you'd be playing; and the HDD for the not-so-flashy games and secondary data storage. This way you'd be able to get fast OS boot and fast game load.

Good luck! Hope we were helpful! :)
