Can anyone help me with my final build for the next 2 years. I'm all for the price, just hopefully nothing over 300 Tax included.

This is my first Intel build, so, I have no idea which board and RAm to choose.

The system is going to be used for some very heavy 3D designing and Graphic designing work. So, I'll be moving to either a Fury X(Cuz the Ti is too mainstream) or a 980Ti(If FuryX stocks don't increase).

Right now, I jsut wanna concentrate on getting the best a most reliable Board that can handle 32+gb of memory @ at least 2400mhz.

This is what I have so far:

Everything is bought already, so i just need help with the board and RAM

Thanks everyone!

I don't know how much benefit you've got with the 5820K over 6700K and the 4790K. In gaming not much maybe more cores do help more for what you're doing. Be aware that a X99 motherboard is more expensive than a Z170 or Z97 motherboard at least. Feel free to get the 5820K though. It should also over-clock well.

Personally I'd get the 980ti over the Fury X.

Personally I would get ~the cheapest RAM. 2400 or 2666 MHz is ok unless the price is much higher.

Motherboard I would kinda want to go cheap but it you don't want to then I guess one could try to figure out which has the better quality capacitors for the money.

Depending on color-scheme the MSI X99 Krait is quite sexy. But I guess black + red is even sexier but very main-stream if that was a problem.

The price-worthy Fury sticks exist in white at least.

This is the build I currently have unbuilt yet. I can still replace and return the Mobo, RAM, CPU. But, this is waht I have, some are old parts, might replace when prices drop.

Krait Edition has that as well actually. But there's something that makes the Gaming 7 a bit more expensive than the Krait Edition. Just not sure what
