I'd like to add Hyper-V but I get:
Hyper-V cannot be installed. The processor does not have second level address translation (SLAT) capabilities

I ran Sysinternals coreinfo and it shows:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6700 @ 2.66GHz
Intel64 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11, GenuineIntel
Microcode signature: 000000BA
HYPERVISOR - Hypervisor is present
VMX * Supports Intel hardware-assisted virtualization
EPT - Supports Intel extended page tables (SLAT)

systeminfo shows:
Hyper-V Requirements:
VM Monitor Mode Extensions: Yes
Virtualization Enabled In Firmware: Yes
Second Level Address Translation: No
Data Execution Prevention Available: Yes

ARK says:
Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x): Yes

BIOS:
I have tried Execution Bit Disabled (on and off) and I have Virtualization Technology enabled.

Is there any way to get this board/CPU combo to run Hyper-V?

Thank you!

Solution
For Hyper-V client, you need a few things:
1) Windows Server or Windows 8+ (Pro or Enterprise only)
2) Virtualization must be enabled
3) You must have the 64bit version of your OS installed.
4) If you are not using Windows Server, you need SLAT

If you want Hyper-V, you need either Windows Server or SLAT, and right now you have neither.
