Is there anyway to transfer the contacts (no- I didn't log into google so it probably isn't synced) to my OnePlus2 when it arrives? It will have the same number so that isn't a problem- just my contacts. The phone's screen is completely unresponsive but I can easily plug it into my PC to retrieve files and it was running jellybean if that helps. Thanks a lot.

What version of Android is it running do you know? If it is anything KitKat or even ICS I think you can buy a cheap OTG (On the go Cable) and plug a mouse into your phone and use the mouse to browse your phone.

Once you get into your Contacts you should be able to export your contacts to a file or to your sim card if you are going to use the same sim card.

once that is done sync it with your google account! lol

The screen doesn't display stuff, so I still can't see anything- plus I can't afford to buy anything, I just blew all of my money on a OnePlus2 since I needed a new phone.

Also- I'm using a different sim card. The S3 uses micro but the OP2 uses nano.

Yeah the back button was lighting up and so was the other one, and I managed to use a program that allowed me to control it via my pc and I synced my contacts to google and exported them into a file on my desktop. I used MobileGo and the other one was in the program as an option but when you clicked it it sent you to download it. It was called MobileGo Mirror or something, but it was allowing my to use my mouse to control the phone and displaying what is happening on the phone so the broken screen didn't matter (basically the phone was fine just the display was screwed- in fact I was able to do stuff by tapping on the touch screen by guessing where it would be when MobileGo was lagging)

So now I have 3 options, first one being the best and the other 2 being backups. I have my contacts on google and I can access it from my PC too so I will log into google on my OP2 to sync them and if that doesn't work I have the actual contacts file on my PC and if that doesn't work I still have the list of contacts accessible on my PC so i can copy them into my phone, it'll just take a while. Thanks for the help though.

MobileGo even installed itself onto my phone when I plugged it in, so it seems really good. Just use the trail version to anyone who sees this post in future and needs help.

The program did it itself when I plugged in my phone- it just asked me if I wanted it to then installed :D
