Hey guys. Quick Question. I am on a really really tight budget. I have 2 options right now, either buy an Intel i3 4160 and spend rest of the money on 2-3 games or buy an Intel i5 4460 and be left with $2 - $3 from which I can not buy any games but I can save up and hopefully after a few months, I will be able to purchase a few. I have purchased rest of the things except the processor and the motherboard. For the mobo, I am thinking about going for the Gigabyte GA-G1.SNIPER B6 Rev 1.0 as it's the only one in my range (any reviews, please?). I would also like to mention that I can not go for AMD processors simply because it is not available in my country. So Intel only. Plus, please report any possible bottlenecks with games like BF4 and GTA V with my gpu and the processors which I have mentioned. Thanks! :)

Purchased components are:
GPU: GTX 650 Ti 1GB GDDR5
RAM: 8GB (1x8)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
PSU: Antec 550W 80+
OS: Windows 10

It is much cheaper to get the i5 now instead of i3 now PLUS the i5 latter when your needs go beyond the i3 (even more so because as skylake becomes more popular the haswell i5s will become more expensive).

Get yourself the i5-4460 as suggested above.

Also that motherboard may not be the most cost effective board. In USA that board is an older model that is $100, while a new h97 board is only $80 or a gigabyte gaming 3 b85 board is only $60.

Here where I live, ASUS H97M-E is priced at $97, Gigabyte GA-G1.SNIPER is at $102, ASUS H97-PLUS is at $112 and GIGABYTE GA-B85M is at $76

I know that the GA-B85 is the cheapest but I really do not want to go with a Micro ATX Mobo and the cheapest ATX mobo available is the GA-G1 Sniper valued at $102. (all prices converted to USD)
Looking at both of your answers, I am positive that I'm going to buy the i5 4460. Do you know of any possible bottlenecks with i5 4460 + gtx 650 Ti + 8GB ram?
