Want to upgrade please give advise!

This is what i have: motherboard msi A78M-E35

AMD A10 6800k quad-core processor 4.4 ghz Max Turbo, 4.1 Ghz Base

Sappire dual-x R9 270 graphics card

DDR3 Vengeance 8gb (all together)

corsair cx500 power supply

What could i upgrade to make it run a little smoother and possibly stream, for as little as possible cost wise? Do i need a better cpu and motherboard or what?

The i3 would be a bit of an improvement but hard to justify for the $160-180 in price between the CPU/Motherboard.

Here is the 2 options I would do that would get you a significant difference:
1) i5-4460 plus Gigabyte gaming 3 b85 motherboard which is around $235
2) FX-8320 + 970 motherboard (with 8 pin cpu power) which would run around $210. Now the FX-8320 is pretty loud so you would likely end up getting a new air cooler in the future for it.
You could save a little more money and from Newegg USA they have a refurbished gigabyte 970a-ud3p (good board) for only $50 so that would drop you to $190 total cost.

i would have to buy a new operating system or can i like carry it over or something. And is the power supply that i have still good enough to support the new cpu and motherboard, sorry im not the smartest with this stuff.
