Hello, this is my system here http:// . I am getting high cpu temps lately. i reapplied a new thermalpaste and it got a little better but i think i should try to cool the cpu more or improve the case airflow. Should i put an exhale in the big green X or should i put a small fan in the side of the case facing straight to the cpu (and the cpu cooler) ? or maybe both? . (when i remove the inhale fan and put it in the side, facing the cpu, temps drop 5-6 degrees instantly)

and in addition what should i care in choosing the right fan except the size

thanks!

What are your high temperatures?
If your cpu cooler is mounted well, I would expect 10-14c. over ambient at idle.
Less than 85c. at load. I would move the rear fan to the front as intake.

Your objective is to insure a good supply of fresh air for cooling.
Let it exit where it will.

If you can, add a second front intake fan. That should be all you need.
The psu fan should not be counted on for any cooling. It's job is to cool the psu Ideally, the psu fan should not run at all.

http:// this is my case and it has a fan reception right behind the power button , it has some holes there but will it be enough as an inhale?

my temps are 51c right now and while browsing but goes up to 70 while playing games (not heavy ones) . the minimum temp i get is 50 when doing nothing (room temperature about 25c)

i mentionted the cpu only to imply that the stock cooler needs more air to properly cool the cpu (thats why i suggest the side small fan)

quick edit : core tempes are lower when i leave the case open from the side

Basic rule, the bottom should always be intake e.g. bottom right side, and near the top should be exhaust as heat rises it improves conventional currents within the case where it intakes cool air and exhausts the heat out of the top to get the best possible cooling.
