I have a Maximus VII Hero motherboard and 2 sticks of DDR3-2133 4GB G.Skill Sniper memory sticks. My question is two parts since prices for DDR3 memory are dropping and I can pick up 2 more sticks of the exact same sticks for about $50, would I see a difference/would it help and is it worth it in the end?
In essence it would be 16 GB of RAM using 4 slots. I have never used more than two sticks before and I was wondering if it would even work with my current setup. I'm always looking to improve my performance and the next purchases would be a faster processor and a better graphics card.
