Hi

i am thinking if getting msi radeon r9 390 but i am not sure if my psu will be able to handle it. I have a Corsair CX600 watt 80 PLUS Bronze PSU a few months old with a 3 years corsair guarantee.

here are my current pc specs:

intel core i5 4690k
msi radeon r9 270x hawk
MSI Z87-G43 Gaming motherboard
Corsair Vengeance Pro 8gb 2133 mhz (2 X 4gb)

will the psu be able to handle it?

Cheers

CX is crap quality PSU I would not even try it. I would look at getting a EVGA G2/GS/B2 unit or a XFX XTR/TS (only get the TS if you are on a serious budget). Also the Antec HCG is pretty decent as well. Lastly any SeaSonic unit 620w and higher will be good as well.

CX = Tier 4

EVGA G2: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20650y1 (4 dollars more gets you a 750w)
EVGA GS: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220gs0650v1
EVGA B2: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vr (best budget choice but not as good as the G2 by any means)

Other Corsair lines like CS or RM are also good as the internals are actually manufactured by Seasonic. An RM 650 would be a good buy for the future. It's not the wattage of your power supply that's the problem, just the quality.
